Biography

Background

I am currently a professional baseball player in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization. I was a

2022 MLB All-Star. I have previously played for the New York Yankees, Cincinnati Reds, and

Detroit Tigers organizations. I am originally from Danville, Virginia. I attended Tunstall High

School where I was on the varsity baseball team for four years. I accepted a baseball scholarship

to Virginia Tech where I played from 2009-2013. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in

Apparel, Housing, and Resource Management. I played on the baseball team from 2009-2013. I

was drafted by the Detroit Tigers following my senior season and I made my major league debut

on September 3, 2016.
